Regional Coordination Groups

Under the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2017/1004, the member states (MS) cooperate and coordinate their actions in the same marine region to improve the quality, timeliness and coverage of data in Regional Coordination Groups (RCG): Baltic, North Sea & Eastern Arctic, North Atlantic, Mediterranean/Black Sea, Large Pelagics, Long Distance Fisheries and on Economic Issues.

PGECON

In 2020, an RCG ECON dealing with data collection of economic data issues was established, to continue the work of the Planning Group on economic issues (PGECON).

RCM

Before 2017, Regional Coordination Groups (RCG) was called Regional Coordination Meetings (RCM).
